The Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life
The Pew Forum is a project of the Pew Research Center. Launched in 2001, its goal is to “promote a deeper understanding of issues at the intersection of religion and public affairs.” The main page includes the results of its extensive 2007 U.S. Religious Landscape Survey which details the religious makeup, religious beliefs and practices as well as social and political attitudes of the American public.

Hartford Institute for Religion Research
This site contains a wide variety of articles, reports and statistics relating to social scientific research on religion in the United States. Information and resources about congregations, denominations, and leadership and more are available. Research is also available on the following topics: megachurches, women and religion, religion and family, internet and religion, Pentecostalism, homosexuality, and orthodoxy.
